Founder’s Day Celebration |

On Fifth September like every year, the college celebrated its Founder’s day and Teachers’ day , with full enthusiasm and zeal. Hawan and Pooja celebrations were followed by various cultural programmes organized by students of the college. Dr. Santosh Gupta ,President of Inner wheal Club Modinagar and International Inner Wheal Distt. 301 Chairperson Dr. Nisha Bhanot honored, Principal & Five staff members for their contribution to the society. |

Russian Delegates visit to G.D.M.(P.G.) College |

Ms. Victoria A. Semenova, Senior Executives & Programme Coordinator and Mr. Alexender Patrova, Asstt. Director of Russian Centre of Science & Culture , New Delhi visited G.D.M.(P.G.) College, Modinagar on 14 Feb' 2006.Madam Victoria gave a small presentation highlighting Russian Culture, Art Education & Science Technology. Ms. Victoria & Mr. Patrova exteded invited to the college to visit Russian Centre of Science & Culture. Subsequently college staff and students visited Russian centre for Science and Culture at New Delhi on 8th March 2006. |

SPRINGBOARD WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME. |

The college organized ‘Springboard Women’s Development Programme’ sponsored by British Council, which Promotes gender Equality and Empowerment. Springboard is a training and development program specifically devised for organizations and institutions that are committed to help their women employees gain their full potential. The program included 4one-day workshops from 5th Nov To 14 Dec.. In this programme Mrs. Arpna Ruth Chales and Dr.Deepali Bhanot were lead manager of the programme . 50 women teaching faculty from different educational institutions of the city attended the programme. |

XXXI Ch. Charan Singh University Inter Collegiate Athletic Meet |

The college organized 31st university athlete meet, 2002. It was inaugurated by Mr. Devashish Panda, IAS District Magistrate, Ghaziabad. and Dr. K.N Modi, Chairman Modi Enterprises was the guest of honour. The meet lasted for 3 days. 47 colleges of Ch. Charan Singh University and 700 girls and boys students participated in various events. Mr. Ram Met Sirohi, Sports Lecturer, was the organizing secretary and Dr. Rita Bakshi, Principal of our college was the organizing chairman of the meet. The Athletic meet was a grand success in the sphere of sports in the college . |

On 1st December, 2007 students organized a fresher party Named “UMANG”. These functions provide the opportunity to the students to show their talents. A fashion show was also organized by the students of Textile & Fashion Design. They present new designer dresses prepared by them during their academic Session |

The service of food is an
art which can make or break the reputation of a catering establishment.
One type of food service is cafeteria. Cafeterias are a self service
system, and are based on certain themes. The M.Sc. H.Sc. (Foods &
Nutrition) course includes a subject institutional Food Administration
under the syllabus of which comes the topic : Practical Knowledge of
running a cafeteria. In this, the students learn about all the aspects of
the ‘Quantity cooking and serving’. For the successful and smooth
administration of a cafeteria, various duties are divided among these
students and the duties keep interchanging between them with a new
cafeteria. A cafeteria consists of following staff:
The cafeterias are organized according to themes. The decoration, fooding, arrangements and the manner of serving represents the theme. Cafeteria’s are run by the students of M.Sc.(FOODS &NUTRITION) III Sem. under the guidance of Ms. Shuchi Gupta the head of the subject. Co-ordination and unity helps to achieve work stability and ease in administration. |
