Four faculty members: Dr. Karuna Singh, Dr. Shuchi Gupta, Dr, Sudha Agarwal , Ms. Priyanka Gupta and 13 students of M.Sc.(Foods & Nutrition ) attended an International workshop on “MICRONUTRIENT AND CHILD HEALTH” on 20-23 Oct 2009 at AIIMS, New Delhi.Two faculty members participated and presented research papers in 5TH NUTRACEUTICAL SUMMIT 2009 organized on 28 to 30 Oct 2009 at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi.

UGC has sanctioned to establish Women Study Center at our college.
The center was inaugurated on 12th Sep 2009 under the Patron ship of Professor Rita Bakshi & Director Dr. Aruna Sharma. Dr. Usha Pathania Former Director Center for Women Study Center and Development, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla was the chief guest. A workshop on Gearing Up for a Quantum Leapwas also organized. |

College organized Cultural (Classical, Solo, Creative and Folk Dance) competition under the aegis of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Literary & Cultural Committee Dr. Sudha Sisodia as Co-ordinator And Dr. Sunita Sharma as Director of the programme .
College students bagged Ist position in Folk Dance & Classical Dance & IInd position in Creative Dance with their colourful presentation. Ist position holders will be participating in Interuniversity Competition being held at Kurukshetra University from 16th Nov. 21 Nov. 2009 |
