Potential For Excellence

The UGC awarded College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) status to our college under XIth plan period and sanctioned Rs. 1,00, 00,000. The college planned to strengthen Under Graduate and Post Graduate teaching, Start add on courses and promote Research.

Gandhian Study Center

The UGC approved the Gandhian Study Center under Epoch making social thinkers to the college with Dr. Aruna Sharma HOD, Dept. of History as Director and Prof. Rita Bakshi, Principal & Patron. The UGC has sanctioned Rs. 10, 50,000.00 under XIth plan period.

1 Day workshop on Research Methodology for Young Women Professionals on 8th March 2010.

National Seminar Organized

A National Seminar “Caste, Religion and Status of Women in Erstwhile Oudh & Agra Regions: A Historical Analysis” on 15 -16 Jan 2010 Sponsored by UGC, New Delhi; Convened by Dr. Aruna Sharma Reader & Head, Department of History.

Rovers Rangers Samagam

The College was given the responsibility to organized three days Inter collegiate Rovers & Rangers Samagam by CCS University on 23-25 Jan 2010 under Programme officer Ms. Alka Tiwari. 15 Teams participated in various competitions and it was a historical extravaganza to our college. Ranger’s team won the 1st position in the University. The winner team gets opportunity to participate in Inter University Rover- Ranger meet at Barielly Collge, Barielly. Our college team at the third position and a new feather was added to the achievements of the college.

• Ms. Kavita participated in all India Inter University Cricket Competition held in Kerala.

• Ms. Rajni won Gold Medal in 20 Km road race and Bronze Medal in 10,000 meters race in Inter Collegiate Athletic meet
organized by Meerut College, Meerut.

• Ms. Preeti won Silver medal in 20 Km road race in Inter Collegiate Athletic meet organized by Meerut College, Meerut.

• Ms. Pooja won Silver medal for Haptathalan in Inter Collegiate Athletic meet organized by Meerut College, Meerut.

• Ms. Barkha participated in inter university Basket ball Competition held in Amritsar.Ms. Sapna was selected for the university team for Soft ball.
